Having convened members to contribute to the GDF ESG Report, it is clear that the community is driven in its efforts towards implementing net-zero (and across the broader sustainability agenda).
We would like to turn this drive into action.
GDF will convene a community summit to discuss the what and the how of delivering net-zero in a digital finance context.
As an output from the session, GDF will prepare and deliver a public letter, documenting the key insights on achieving net-zero from the crypto and digital assets industry to COP26 leadership, with a view to setting appropriate short and medium term targets for our sector, and mapping the relevant pathways and processes required to achieve net zero.
We would like your input on this, and to invite you to have a voice in the discussion on how the industry can transform motivation and awareness into action.
Chaired by GDF and DLA Piper, the roundtable event will convene participants from across the crypto and digital assets market to gain perspectives on each part of the value chain in the context of net-zero and the broader sustainability agenda, as well as insights on scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions, science-based targets and transition pathways, as they relate to this sector.
Each participant will be invited to contribute their actionable insights to the discussion.
