James has been a longstanding advocate for decentralized technologies, having testified on the NY Privacy Act and before Congress on stablecoin technology as a blockchain expert. He helped map standards for digital identity and has been deeply involved in self-custody tools and digital asset infrastructure companies since 2018.
He currently acts as GTM Director at Formation, a frontier technology lab working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and automation technologies. Previously, he founded a renowned fitness facility in Manhattan and was a trader at a boutique investment bank.
He lives between St. Petersburg, Florida and Copenhagen while spending as much time as he can in his hometown of New York City. James graduated from the Villanova University School of Business.
